All 12 students passed PMA's Postgraduate Course in Magazine Journalism, summer 2007. The graduation day was held on 7 September. There were additional celebrations for Tori Hunt, Anna Fox and Tom Ireland, who had each been offered jobs by the end of the course.
Tom Ireland has been taken on as a reporter on GP Magazine, Tori Hunt will be on Publishing News — also as a reporter, and Anna Fox goes to Health Club magazine. Many of the other graduates from this summer's course are waiting to hear whether they also have jobs following interviews during their last week of the course. Among countries asking for training were India, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia and Dubai. “I have high hopes that we will be able to set up a permanent base in the Far East within the next year,” Elliott said. The convention was the latest in a programme of trips by Keith and Riva Elliott to the Far East to boost PMA’s profile in the region. Other destinations have included China and Malaysia.
